Graduation season will soon be in full swing. You have prepared and laid the foundation of your career. But are you financially prepared for the harsh reality of living costs?

10 remote freelance jobs hiring students in 2024
10 remote freelance jobs hiring students in 2024

According to a survey by market insights platform GitNux, nearly three-quarters of Gen Z students worry about how to afford tuition, a third are already in debt, and due to growing financial pressures, some 47% — nearly half of Gen Zers — were more concerned about making money than previous generations at their age, leading them to work longer hours in college.

Perhaps that's one reason why starting a side hustle or becoming a remote freelancer is so appealing to Gen Zers, with 43% of them actively employed in the gig economy, according to Upwork's 2022 research.

Gen Zers are the first group to be raised as digital natives. Even for the oldest of the generational cohort, iPhones were already on the market at the age of ten. This has affected many aspects of their lives, from how they socialize to how they shop, but as this generation enters the workforce, it has also clearly affected how they view work.

As another graduation season approaches and we anticipate a new influx of Gen Zers into the workforce, Upwork analyzed how Gen Zers are already shaping the workforce—providing unique insights into the skills, flexibility, and type of work arrangements they want.

Key findings include:

• Gen Zers are more likely to work for companies that employ freelancers: Nearly three-quarters (73%) of Gen Zers say they work for a company that uses freelancers; that compares to 67% of millennials, 58% of Gen Xers and 53% of baby boomers.

• Younger generations more likely to engage freelancers in the future: 65% of Gen Zers and 78% of Millennials say they plan to use more freelancers in the next five years than they do today.

• Gen Zers recognize that freelancers are part of a complete talent strategy: In fact, 61% of Gen Zers believe that using freelancers is a very effective lever for building a talent pool, compared to 47% of Millennials, 35% of Gen Xers, and 37% of baby boomers.

• Gen Zers plan to keep telecommuting: Nine in 10 Gen Zers and 82% of Millennials say they are much more likely to overhaul remote work as a key recruiting lever. Compared to only 71% of Gen Xers and 59% of Baby Boomers.

For starters, our latest Freelance Forward report revealed that freelancing continues to be an attractive career choice for young professionals. The recent waves of mass layoffs and mandatory reinstatements certainly haven't helped the perceived power imbalance.

According to our research, in 2022, 43% of all Gen Zers and 46% of Millennial professionals were freelancers. When you look at the top reasons for freelancing in this age group: "To be able to do work that I'm passionate about or that gives me meaning", "To take more control of my personal development and career" and "To have flexibility in my schedule make a list These young professionals want to be in control of the work they do, who they do it for, and when they do it. Gen Z is normalizing career paths and job opportunities outside of the traditional 9-to-5.

The exciting thing about these freelance positions and side hustles is that they all require a degree of creativity and innovation and a deep understanding of what you already know in order to expand your services and earning potential. Instead of trying to create or learn something completely new, why not build on what you're already good at?

As a student or recent graduate, you likely have plenty of hands-on experience that has allowed you to build critical skills to become a freelancer. If you think outside the box, you may be able to create solutions that allow you to build a side (or even full-time) income while using what you learned during your studies.

For example, if you're studying for your degree in finance or accounting, you might ask yourself what skills did I gain during my studies and what new things did I learn that I could use as a freelance content creator sharing financial tips and tricks for busy professionals. ?

And money aside, hustling or freelancing while studying or preparing to graduate brings another benefit: not only can you earn enough money remotely to support yourself and your living expenses, but you'll have the opportunity to explore your interests and gain new skills and balance your academic commitments at the same time.

12 Freelance Websites to Promote Your Side Idea in 2024

12 Freelance Websites to Promote Your Side Idea in 2024

Freelance websites take the pain out of one of the many hustle and bustle of small businesses

You have researched the market demand. You've discovered that you have a high-income skill, and you've found a way to monetize your expertise. The business infrastructure is in place and you are now ready to take on paying customers with passive income or gigging. But now comes the very important but dreaded question: How can you find clients to begin with?

12 Freelance Websites to Promote Your Side Idea in 2024
12 Freelance Websites to Promote Your Side Idea in 2024

Stepping into the unknown and starting a side hustle for the first time is often an overwhelming and nerve-wracking experience. What if no one likes and pays for what you offer? What if you can't top up your salary after all (or possibly adjust it to replace it entirely)? Because of course a side hustle isn't a side hustle without paying customers.

And if you can't find any gig work, you'll soon find that you have no business at all.

Factors to consider when choosing a freelancing website

Fortunately, there are a number of online platforms that allow you to promote your services and make them available to a wider audience both locally and globally, making it easier for you to secure client work, contracts and gigs.

But which one should you choose? Consider this checklist when evaluating a freelance website:

1. Properties

Carefully weigh the pros and cons of each before choosing a freelancing platform. Some have integrations that make it easy to automate your service offerings, such as communicating with customers, scheduling appointments on your calendar, or processing client payments. Others do not provide this, but simply serve as an interaction platform for client acquisition and for displaying reviews and testimonials from satisfied customers.

2. Fees

It's also important to note that not all freelancing platforms are free; some charge to display the contact information of potential leads, while others may charge you a fee calculated as a percentage of your revenue. For example, Upwork takes 10% of your freelance earnings. But at the very least, these websites can be your stepping stones, so you can get initial visibility and get the first reviews of your services and expand elsewhere (for example, to your own website attracting clients from Google searches).

3. Liability

Another factor to consider is that since you are a freelancer, the client, corporate or not, does not cover any costs such as health care or insurance. In addition, you will need to track and record your business income and expenses and file your business taxes.

4. Industry

Finally, some freelance websites are better suited for some industries than others. For example, one platform may tend to favor consulting gigs, while another may work better for technical issues like app and web development. A good example would be ServiceScape, which focuses more on freelance writing and editorial work.

Freelance websites and platforms

Check out this list of freelance websites to see which ones suit your idea:

12 Freelance Websites to Promote Your Side Idea in 2024
12 Freelance Websites to Promote Your Side Idea in 2024

1. SimplyHired

SimplyHired is a job board that posts thousands of jobs, including remote roles and freelance projects, with filters for posting date and minimum wage to name a few. Simply typing "freelance" into the search box will generate a long list of freelance roles in your area or remotely, as the case may be.

You can also be more specific and enter search terms like “freelance content writer” to access relevant gigs. Some of the published contracts can pay up to $70,000 a year.

Consider the industry you operate in and the service you will be providing, as this is an important.

2. Upwork

The Upwork freelance platform is suitable for a wide variety of side projects that you can promote, such as:

  1. • Consultancy in the field of brand voice and design

  3. • Cover and digital designs for marketing
  4. • Architecture and interior design
  5. • Photography, videography and media production services
  6. • Web and application development
  7. • Data analysis
  8. • Marketing, PR and SEO services and consulting
  9. • Content writing and copywriting
  10. • And a number of other consulting services, such as personnel, business, legal and financial consulting

3. Fiverr

Fiverr is another fantastic resource for promoting your side hustle; it has hundreds of categories and allows clients to pay by the project and not by the hour. You can get 80% of your earnings and you can choose to work as often or as little as you want. According to the website, you can set your fees anywhere from $5 to $995 and offer three versions of your service at three different prices with their gig packages.

4. LinkedIn

Although not traditionally advertised as a freelancing platform, LinkedIn offers a unique opportunity for side hustlers to use their expertise, network and credibility built through their profile and presence to land clients. LinkedIn has a freelancing section called "services" that you can add to the "open" section at the top of your profile.

LinkedIn members who are interested in learning more about your services can submit a project request through this section and you can make payments through the next conversation. In addition, when they search for a specific service, such as career coaching, your profile will appear in the list of search results if it is optimized.

5. He stammered

If you think you have a good experience and portfolio and have experience in business, technology or design, you may want to consider joining Toptal as a freelancer. Toptal is an exclusive freelance talent network that you can join if you are a developer (I mean full stack, back-end or front-end), UI/UX designer or digital product manager, management consultant (I mean M&A or financial strategy), project manager or scrum master. Projects can range from hourly to long-term, from various corporations around the world.

6-TaskRabbit

Not every freelance job requires a laptop. Since 2008, TaskRabbit has been connecting people with freelancers to help them with odd jobs like shopping, plumbing, furniture assembly, moving and more. We chose it as the best site for non-digital jobs because it specifically targets people with non-digital skills. To book jobs through TaskRabbit, you need to create a profile and list all the job categories you're comfortable with, along with your rate. After completing your profile, you must pass a background and ID check. Once your background check is processed, you must also attend an orientation session, which costs $25. As a "Tasker" you can choose which tasks you want to complete and once you complete a task you can send an invoice to your client directly through the platform. Like Upwork and Fiverr, your TaskRabbit clients can leave you ratings and reviews based on your performance. If you plan to use TaskRabbit to search for gigs on a regular basis, positive reviews can help you increase your visibility on the platform and gain repeat clients.

7-FlexJobs

FlexJobs was created in 2007 to respond to the lack of a centralized place to find legitimate work-from-home opportunities. Since then, it has grown to become the largest site for manually controlled remote jobs. We've chosen FlexJobs as the best place to freelance remotely because it's committed to researching and vetting every listing to ensure members have access to the best opportunities possible. FlexJobs uses revenue from its membership fees to fund its extensive screening process. Its members thus have access to an up-to-date database of fraud-free freelance opportunities in more than 50 industries. Members also receive exclusive discounts and offers on products and services such as Intuit QuickBooks, Dell laptops and career coaching. FlexJobs charges $9.95 for a weekly membership, $24.95 for a monthly membership, and $39.85 for a three-month period. Additionally, users can choose to pay $64.95 for the entire year at once. THE BEST

8-Freelancer.com

Founded in 2009, Freelancer is currently the largest online marketplace for freelance work, connecting over 58 million employers and freelancers from over 247 countries. We chose Freelancer as the best overall because it has the largest number of opportunities available, is open to everyone, and has no initial cost to create an account. On Freelancer, you can search and apply for local and remote jobs in dozens of fields such as accounting, architecture, design, human resources, content writing, social media marketing, sales, software development, and more. Want to learn how to sell Canva templates?

Want to know how to make money selling Canva templates?

You can start creating Canva templates to sell and make money from the comfort of your own home – and never have to send anything.

Creating Canva templates can be a great way to make extra money because you only need to create them once and you can sell them an unlimited number of times.

Today I have a fun interview to share with you. I interviewed Making Sense of Cents reader Maliha about how to sell Canva templates.

Working just a few hours a week, Maliha is able to earn $2,000 every month selling Canva templates online.

Are you interested in questions like:

• What exactly is a Canva template? What is Canva?

• Can I sell Canva templates?

• How can I sell my designs on Canva?

• Who buys Canva templates?

• How can I learn how to create templates for sales?

• Can someone without technical skills create a Canva template?

Today's interview will help you get started and maybe even introduce you to a new way to make extra money.

How to sell canvas templates?

1. Please tell us a little about yourself and how you started selling Canva templates.

It all started with my blog. A few years ago, things took a turn for the unknown. I was lost and stressed and felt like a failure. A lot of realizations came up. Implementation as…

• A college degree may not always be enough to land your dream job.

• Jobs are not permanent.

• Dream jobs don't always pay enough.

• Sometimes the dream job turns out not to be what you expected.

• Etc.

I won't go into the gory details, but let's just say I was in a dark place. I needed to make money, so I did what I could. I was freelancing as a web developer – a skill I taught myself in college out of curiosity (who knew it would pay my bills one day!). I also worked as a virtual assistant on and off. During that time, thanks to a lot of blogger clients, I also got to know blogging, affiliate marketing and passive income in general.

They got me thinking about starting my own blog too! After all, I've always loved to read, and what reader doesn't dream of becoming a writer at least once in their life? So in June 2018, my blog - The Side Blogger - was born.

Initially, I spent an obscene amount of time creating fancy graphics for my blog and social channels using Photoshop and InDesign. It was a pretty boring business. My education is in engineering. And while I've always had a high regard for visual design, learning Photoshop or InDesign was a whole different game. But then, thanks to a few of my virtual assistants, I found Canva – an online graphic design app.

I first fell in love with the app for its ease of use. But it was so damn fun that I was soon designing graphics just for the heck of it. I really took it as a stress relief mechanism. I must be doing something right because one day out of the blue I got an email from Canva.

How I Make $2000 a Month Selling Canva Templates online
How I Make $2000 a Month Selling Canva Templates online

We love your work and would love to have you as a Canva Certified Creative and Brand Ambassador! – I was paraphrasing, but that was basically the message.

As I kept designing more and more graphics with Canva for my blog, I started getting emails from random readers asking about my graphic design services.

That, along with the fact that one of my freebies - a blogger media kit template built with Canva - was getting a lot of attention, I knew I had an opportunity there. So around January 2019 I started my first Canva template store.

I started small. I set up a WooCommerce store on my blog and launched my first five Canva templates. Several media kit templates and some social media template packs. For several months I have been designing templates for ebooks, notebooks, presentations, planners and more.

I also set up stores on third party marketplaces to generate more income.

A little over a year later, in 2020, I made my first $1,000! Oh, and by the way, I was doing all of this on the side!

I don't work more than a few hours a week designing templates and promoting my products.

2. How much do you earn monthly selling Canva templates?

When I first started my business, I treated it as a hobby. I didn't promote my products enough and depended only on blog traffic. Mind you my blog was less than a year old at the time and I had maybe a hundred visitors a day on a good day.

And I was happy about it. I remember the day I made my first hundred dollars selling Canva templates and I mentally patted myself on the back thinking I could treat myself to a fancy dinner or something.

But as more and more sales started coming in, I realized I had stumbled upon something with great potential. That's when I decided to take it seriously.

And now, two years after starting my business, I'm making an average of $2,000 a month and more.

Here are some of the Canva templates I sell.

3. What is a Canva template? What is Canva?

So, as I mentioned above, Canva is an online graphic design application. It's free to use, but users can sign up for a pro account, which unlocks some nice features as well as access to millions of premium images and graphics.

A Canva template is basically designs created with Canva that can be shared with other Canva users, who can then edit and customize those designs to create something unique.

Users can change the colors, images, fonts and texts of the template and make it their own.

It's a lot like Photoshop or InDesign or even Illustrator templates.

The difference is that while Adobe products have a steep learning curve, Canva is easy to use, making it much more sought after by people who don't have the know-how of Adobe products or don't have the time to learn how these difficult-to-use programs work.

4. What do you like about creating Canva templates?

You see, I've always had a great love and appreciation for good design. In college, when I was getting my degree in electrical engineering (which I love, by the way), I occasionally threw in articles about graphic design and typography. One of the reasons I learned programs like Photoshop and InDesign was so I could create beautiful designs myself.

But I never had enough time to master these platforms.

But Canva was different.

It's like when I started using Canva, I looked like an experienced designer when I wasn't. All because the platform is so easy to use. You can choose different frames and shapes from their huge library of graphic resources and boom!

You can create something stunning in minutes - tasks that would otherwise take you HOURS if you tried to do them with Photoshop or InDesign. I'm not bashing Adobe products here, I'll admit that Photoshop and Illustrator and InDesign are much better than Canva. But my point is that not everyone has the time to learn these platforms or the resources to hire a professional designer.

Canva is perfect for these people. It's perfect for me!

5. How much money can you make selling Canva templates? Can you make money selling templates? Can you make money from Canva?

If I can make an average of over $2000 per month with just 30 templates in my store, then the answer is yes, there is money to be made with this store.

How much you earn depends on many factors like the quality of your template, usability, relevance, right price, etc. It also depends on how much time you put into this business. I do this on the side and make about $2000 a month.

6. Who buys Canva templates? Won't too many people sell them?

Typically, people who buy Canva templates are those who don't have the skills to design their own graphics and digital products using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator or InDesign. They love Canva because the platform is very easy to use.

Even someone who has never designed anything in their life can pick up Canva in a few hours!

There may be too many people selling Canva templates, but there is also a much larger audience that needs templates. I wouldn't worry about the market getting saturated anytime soon.

Especially with the growing number of bloggers, online course creators, educators and trainers, the demand for digital products is only growing, as is the popularity of Canva.

7. Do I need to already have followers to make money selling Canva templates?

I know some Canva template sellers who don't even have their own website, email list or anything! I know a few people who make more money than me but don't even have a huge social media following.

You can always use a third-party marketplace like Etsy or Creative Market. These platforms do a decent job of driving traffic to your products

8. How can I come up with new ideas for Canva templates? How do I learn how to create Canva templates for sale?

I often tell my students to think about the audience they want to serve.

Ideas come from knowing the audience.

It also helps to note special months and holidays. For example, March is Women's History Month and a designer could create template packs that focus on inspirational women. February is all about Valentine templates. Trust me, once you go down this rabbit hole, you'll find that the problem isn't finding new ideas, it's keeping up with all the ideas you have!

9. Does Canva own my designs? Or me as a creator?

No way! Own your designs! Canva is simply a tool that brings your creative vision to life.

The only thing unique about Canva is the graphic elements. As a Canva user and template designer, you can use these elements that you do not own, but have permission to use as a Canva user.

But that's okay because when a buyer buys your template, they'll need to have a Canva account themselves to customize the template. And as a Canva user, they will have the same license to use these graphic elements as you, the template designer.

10. Can someone without technical skills create a Canva template?

One of the advantages of Canva is its ease of use.

Of course, different people have different skills. If someone sits down with Canva and plays with it for a few days and still hasn't figured out how to use the platform, then maybe selling Canva templates isn't the best idea for them.

However, I can tell you that using and creating with Canva requires a lot less technical skills than Photoshop or InDesign, for example.

11. Can you list the steps needed to start creating and selling Canva templates?

Of course, the most important thing for selling Canva templates is knowing how to use Canva.

To do this, you first need to create an account with Canva and play around with the platform until you know how to create a design.

Once you've taken care of that, here's what you should ideally do to start selling your templates.

  1. 1. Decide what kind of templates to sell. Create a product line. If you're a complete beginner and have no idea where to start, a good first five products might be — an Instagram template pack, an e-book or magazine, a planner or some kind of worksheet, a presentation/slide deck, social media banners.
  2. 2. Set up shop(s). Your store can be on your own website, or Etsy, or Creative Market, or preferably all three of these platforms! There are other platforms for selling Canva templates. But these three are my favorites so far.
  3. 3. Design your templates and prepare deliveries for your buyers.
  4. 4. Design amazeballs product images that will make your ideal customers fall in love with your templates.
  5. 5. List your products in your stores.
  6. 6. Sell/promote your products.
  7. 7. Sell templates and earn $$$

12. Are there any other tips you have for someone who wants to try this side hustle?

Selling Canva templates is like any other business, but with less losses.

For example, you can start creating and selling Canva templates with just a free Canva account. It doesn't cost you any money to set up shops on Etsy or Creative Market. So it is not as risky a business as some others.

That means you have to love Canva and creating with Canva. I mean, someone who hates writing can't be a writer, right? It's the same with Canva templates.

Ask yourself - do you enjoy creating graphics and digital products? Do you have the patience to spend hours creating beautiful things and making a concerted effort to create better products every time you sit down to design? If your answer is yes, then you have what it takes to start a Canva template business.

Like any other business, the Canva template business is not a get-rich-over-night scheme. You need to work for at least a few months before you see results. You have to have patience, persistence and you have to get to work!

Conclusion: How to Sell Canva Templates

I hope you enjoyed this conversation about how to sell Canva templates and how to make money with Canva.

What I love about this side hustle is that you can work from home in your spare time and be your own boss!

A Canva template is like a pre-designed layout that others can use to create things like social media graphics, Pinterest images, eBooks, and more. People buy these templates because it's a useful starting point if you're not very good at designing things. Business owners, nonprofits, educators, planners, and more all buy templates.

What you need to know about online accounting.

What is an accountant?

An accountant is someone who helps manage and monitor the financial side of a business. They will usually track sales, expenses and generate financial reports.

People with virtual accounting jobs work remotely from home and do not have to physically go to the office. Accounting is an excellent option for remote work because all of an accountant's work can be done online or using computer software.

If you are a freelance accountant, you may have several clients, or just one. It simply depends on what type of accounting you want to do.

How an accountant explains work

If you're looking for a freelance accounting job from home, it can be helpful to learn how a professional accountant describes their work. This way you can get a better idea of what the job will actually be like. I always enjoy hearing people explain what they do in their own words.

I interviewed a professional accountant on How to Become an Accountant and I think they described the job best:

“Think of accounting as taking care of your household finances… but on steroids.

An accountant is the person business owners rely on for accurate financial information. Business owners want to be able to focus on what they are good at and delegate the tasks they are not so good at. Bookkeeping is a prime example of a task that savvy business owners outsource.”

Can I work as an accountant from home?

Yes, bookkeeping is the perfect work from home job! All you really need is a laptop or computer and an internet connection.

As an online accountant, you can usually work from anywhere. I've met people who work as online accountants as a way of working while traveling - it's so flexible!

All of the most popular accounting software you would use is all online, and most companies keep digital copies of financial documents that you should also be able to access online, such as receipts and payroll.

What does an online accountant do?

As an accountant, you can perform tasks such as:

• Records of financial transactions

• Categorizing and organizing financial information such as filing receipts

• Compilation of financial statements

• Reconciliation of bank statements

• Budget management

• Creation of financial statements

• Process invoices

• Cash flow management

• Payroll management

How much do online accountants earn?

Salaries for online accountants vary as does the type of work they do.

Because it depends on how many hours you dedicate to it each week (for example, do you want to work part-time or full-time), what you do to grow your business and more.

As an online accountant, you can earn around $40,000 or more every year. Usually there are 12-16 clients. Hourly wages can range from $60 to $100 per hour.

It is not uncommon for an accountant to earn around $300 per month per client, which is a total of 4-5 hours per month.

Can I be an accountant without a degree? How can I become a virtual accountant without experience?

There are certainly online accounting jobs where no experience is necessary and you don't even need a degree to get started.

• You can create your own schedule, which can be great if you're a stay-at-home parent or if you just want to be in charge of your own hours.

• You can decide who your clients are and who you will work with.

Cons of Becoming an Accountant:

As you can see, there are many great positives to becoming an accountant.

34 Best Part-Time Night or Evening Jobs from Home in 2023

Here are the 34 best online jobs available for freelancers.

34 best online jobs available for freelancers.

34 best online jobs available for freelancers.

1. Make money blogging

Throughout this site, whenever there is any mention of "making money", I always put "Blogging" in the first five ways listed.

Why? Because that's what I do and I absolutely love it!

But before anything else, let's talk about what is a blog and who is a blogger?

Well, a blog is a website that contains a series of articles or posts that revolve around a particular topic or series of topics.

And a blogger is someone who manages a blog, creates content and updates the existing one. It's a great way to start making money because you'll be your own boss, create content around things you personally like, and you can also set your own hours.

As for the making money part, there are a few ways to do it. You can monetize your blog:

  • • Display ads (like the ones you see floating on this page)
  • • Affiliate marketing (making money by promoting the products and services of others)
  • • Sponsored Post (posting about a brand or company that pays you to do it)
  • • Online courses (you can sell your own courses)
  • • Other consulting services

How can you get started?

To get started, you first need to come up with a name for your blog (domain name).

For example, the domain name of this blog is Prosmartrepreneur.com, similarly you will need to come up with a blog name. Try to come up with a title that reflects the topic/niche of the blog.

2. Proofreading

What exactly is proofreading?

Proofreading is the process of checking and analyzing the final draft of a written text to ensure accuracy in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting, and in the end, it should make sense.

Basically, it means finding (and correcting) mistakes in texts!

Freelance proofreading is a type of work from home where one spends time identifying typos in pre-written text formats. Businesses and large publishing organizations require proofreading to ensure quality and maintain professionalism.

So if you like to correct mistakes and can find mistakes or can easily correct hidden typos, proofreading might be right for you.

In 2014, Caitlin Pyle earned over $43,000 working as a freelance proofreader.

After having great success with it, she decided she wanted to teach others how to do the same, so she started Proofread Anywhere to make sure others learn proofreading the right way and get clients consistently.

The easiest way to get one of these work-from-home proofreading jobs is to sign up for Caitlin's free workshops on getting started as a proofreader.

Here you can learn so much about how to start proofreading and make money from it.

3. The work of writing

What is Freelance Writing “Work from Home”?

A freelance writer is someone who doesn't work for one particular company, but works for themselves, contracts to write, and writes for a variety of different clients, such as websites, blogs, magazines, and more.

p.s. You really don't need strong writing skills to succeed in this field

How Much Money Do Freelance Writers Make?

According to PayScale.com, a part-time writer's salary is somewhere between $24,000 and $115,000 per year. This range can reach up to $200,000 per year

How can you get started as a freelance writer working from home?

Holly from Club Thrifty started freelance writing with no real background and now earns over $200,000 a year from her writing. He now has a course primarily aimed at people who want to be successful freelance writers with no previous experience.

She has included nine video modules in her course, several printable worksheets, amazing extras, and also,

  • • How to find your clients.
  • • Which platforms to choose.
  • • How to structure your work to make a six-figure income.
  • • how to find an entry-level job and move up with time and all that good stuff.

4. Start a Dropshipping or eCommerce store

What is it and how does it work?

Basically, dropshipping is a business model that allows individuals to sell products to customers online without actually stocking them.

This means that with dropshipping you don't have to create or track inventory and shipping yourself, you can sell other suppliers' products and they will take care of the rest.

While there is an option to sell other people's products, you can also sell your own products by opening an online store.` The difference between Amazon FBA and dropshipping/online store is that you can build your own store here and scale it on your own terms.

How much money does it make?

There is no definitive range of how much money you can make, you can make anywhere from $500 a month to literally millions a month selling products online. Fun fact: Kylie Jenner achieved the status of "youngest billionaire" by selling beauty products online (KylieCosmetics.com).

How to start as a dropshipper or build an online product store?

Starting an online store is very easy, trust me. I've opened quite a few over the past year. The only problem is that it's not that easy when it comes to scaling or bringing people to your store.

This is why proper guidance is necessary when it comes to learning a new skill, many fake gurus these days are selling their courses on every social media platform that has no value. On the other hand, Scott Hilse's Simplified Dropshipping course is as original and practical as it comes.

I have taken many dropshipping courses (including this one) and in the end this course is the one I recommend every time. Scott has taught many students who (within the first week) have made thousands of dollars. Just look at the references and decide for yourself.

5. Create videos for YouTube

Let me start by listing some interesting YouTube stats (at the time of writing):

  • • Number of MONTHLY active users: 1.9 billion+
  • • Number of DAILY active users: 30 million+

What jobs can I do at night?

It all depends on your available time, interests and income goal. Any job or side hustle that aligns with these metrics is right for you.

To find out what suits you, you can try making a table where you list your interests/field and their potential job earnings and compare them side by side.

How can I work from home at night?

It can be challenging to work late at night if you already have a busy schedule, but to get used to your new work schedule, you need to plan things accordingly. Set work hours, start working, avoid distractions, make coffee if you need to, and make sure you get the job done without procrastination.

In order to work from home, you need a reliable internet connection and a comfortable setup. Since you will be working for hours at a time, it will be best to have ergonomic chairs or something similar for your position.

What are the best paying night jobs?

If high income is your main priority, then I suggest you start your own side hustle that generates good income (like blogging or dropshipping) or become a highly respected freelancer so you can set high rates for your services.

In any case, you have to work hard to reach this level. But if you want a fast, guaranteed but limited income, the best option would be a part-time night job.

Conclusion:

Having a busy schedule during the day is tough and working at night is definitely not going to be easy, and since it's something you've decided to do for the long haul, make sure it's something you're interested in.

Also, whatever you decide to do, make sure you are consistent with it. It's easy to give up on something that isn't producing the desired income goals.

In these times, just keep going and improving your skills. As you do this, your expertise in that particular area will skyrocket and so will your income. Consistency is what separates those who make the big bucks and those who just fade away.
